STORIED SERMONS
Romans: The Gospel According to Paul
Jesus Is King!
It’s one thing to say Jesus is our Savior. It’s another thing to follow Him as our King. In the Gospel of Matthew, we are provided story after story for why Jesus is worth following, serving, and obeying. They aren’t the typical reasons, for Jesus is an atypical King. He is morally good, inspiring, transformational, compassionate, empowering, and so much more. Jesus IS King.
Wising Up
The culture at large waters down wisdom to gaining knowledge and discerning decision-making with a good outcome as the litmus test for whether wisdom was at work. But when wisdom is from the Lord, we must look to Him for our wisdom. When we do, what comes about isn’t a better outcome, but a better character — Christlike.

Psalms of Ascents
Discipleship with Jesus is a lifelong journey. It could also be called a pilgrimage between the momentary and the eternal life promised in Christ. Like any journey, a pilgrimage is wrought with troubles, hardships, joys, and much more. The Psalms of Ascents provide guidance and encouragement to the people of God as they obediently journey with and for Jesus.

Revelation
What do you do with one of the Bible's most challenging and difficult-to-understand parts? Well, what if the writing said the one who hears and does what it says is blessed? Perhaps it’s worth reading, studying, reflecting, and allowing it to further aid us in becoming more like Jesus.

Daniel: God IS Always Working
The story of Daniel is decently known: A young kid gets abducted to another country. He stands his ground - against the king, sore losers, and a beastly den. But Daniel's account of the history of Israel is so much more than just the basic storyline. It’s really about God who is always working out His will, through His people, and for His purposes no matter the circumstances. And from it, the people of God learn to trust His control more and more.
Like Jesus: The Gospel of Mark
Everyone is a disciple (learner, pupil) of someone or something. Those who call themselves disciples of Jesus, well… they are learners of Jesus - the Son of God. So, what does being called like to be like Jesus look like? What does serving like Jesus look like? What does suffering like Jesus look like? How about generosity? Facing insurmountable moments? In this series, we look to Jesus so we can look like Jesus - as disciples only can and should.
JOSHUA
How would you respond to life circumstances if you were confident God were with you? What does the faith of an outsider tell us about being the people of God? How does one’s last farewell and final words encourage us to persevere as God’s people in the midst of temptations that try and draw us away from Him? Those are the questions this series from Joshua answers!
How to Think Theologically about Tithing
It’s not essential, fundamental, nor talked all that much about in the Scriptures. Yet, how we navigate a topic titled “tithing” is really, really important. Truth is, the non-essential topics oftentimes are the ones that cause the most rift - tithing included. So, let’s talk tithing… theologically speaking, that is.
Acts of the Apostles
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
The Gospel of John
“Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, you may have life in his name.” John 20:30-31
